being cynical killed the brad
well sunday was a rather pleasant and easy day,
met up with han and bought some stuff at beach road. it was a rainy sunday
so beach plans were ruined again! gah! landed up goin for my 'quay chup' at beach road market and then hung out at bugis.
at bugis i suddenly figured that i dont own an umbrella. so thank goodness for the rainy day sale at giordano, i bought myself a charcoal grey umbrella to shade me from the wet melodramatic tears from the sky. made a new friend at the giordano as well. then i couldn't resist buying a new pair of flip flops. even on a rainy day the beach bum in me still comes out. lolol. a stunning yellow and brilliant fresh grass green, resembles a pair of flip flops straight outta brazil!
came home and didn't have much to do, so joanne came over to hang and marathon a couple of movies with me. was a very pleasant evening just hanging out and watching a couple of movies. she introduced the movie serendipity to me, john cusack and the chick from underworld.
serendipity - a fortunate accident
(for those who watched the movie) how likely is that? i highly doubt that seredipity will befall my miserable love life. After going through such a bad break up and still feeling pretty broken about it, i highly doubt seredipity will ever happen. it amazes me how cynical i've become towards relationships and love now. i use to be such a believer in love and the wonderful feelings that came with it. the butterflies in my stomach, the sweet sweet kisses and plenty of huggies. Now its just a completely hopeless disgusting thought of having to love someone so much and then letting her put my heart in a god dam blender and make heartbreak shake before my eyes. haha. maybe its the age setting in, or the maturity, or a being a step closer to becoming a grumpy old has-been. i don't know, but nevertheless it was a rather sweet movie. i guess one can wait their entire life for seredipity, but i'd rather be a grumpy shit and spit on the fact that i use to be a sweetboy. =P
